At the age of 16…more years ago than I would like to admit!

All wonderful people wanting something different, artistic and personal …achieved quickly, with ease and the minimum of fuss!

Weddings, Portraits and local Kent scenery

Honest, hard working, determined and with a natural empathy for people and a desire to please.

My dad used to be a photographer so I kind of think it’s in the blood!

“ I knew you would always do it….. It was simply a matter of time”
“ I don’t know why I love it...... I just do”

A number of things:- The belief that if you are detemined, hard working, constantly striving to improve, believe in yourself and love what you do then you will get there! Life's too short to spend time doing a job that you hate.


I am a member of Deal & District Camera Club and enter images in the Colour, Mono and Digital Projected Images whenever work allows.
For the season ending September 2011,
I acheived the following in the advanced photographers section.

Winner of the Annual Colour Print
Winner of the Projected Digital Images
Second for the Mono Print
Winner of the Tony Gardner Trophy for the most creative print.

I guess I got lucky this year!

Redundancy from banking nearly 7 years ago gave me the opportunity for a life style change.
I have never regretted one moment of it even though it has been tough.
I will continue in my chosen passion with the same enthusiasm and devotion to my Art that I had when I first started. Professionally I will submit work for further qualifications as and when my work allows. The next one..probably ARPS.

I was introduced to a retired professional Wedding and Portrait Photographer who said “ If I like you I’ll help you. If I don’t I won’t”. Lucky for me he did!. Thank you Barry!
